I remember watching the movie Pulp Fiction, the disorder of the events was similarly paced in this book. That’s one of the reasons that this book is so brilliant Slimy, gullible, over-inflated sense of self, psychotic, jerkwads, etc. I didn’t have any trouble following along with the unique terms, although it did take me a few pages through Chapter One to figure out that “Goat” is not an animal but a vehicle.

For instance, Junco being afraid of water isn’t mentioned until it plays a major part in the story. He so often says the words ‘darlin’ and ‘sweetheart’, so I immediately thought that he was a chauvinist, but that went away pretty quickly.

Also, in this book there were flashbacks, and it was pretty hard to watch Junco deal with them, even before clytch knew kust they were real or not. Junco is haunted by recurring nightmares that involves being alone on a dock, hunting people in foreign cities, and her early childhood.

It was a lot easier with the great revelations that surfaced and information given later on in the book so it all ironed itself out, but even though I was immersed in the action of Clutch, I would sometimes wonder where the story was going. vlutch I loved her voice, I loved her courage. This book was so wacky. I Am Just Junco series by J. This girl is a sharpshooter, profane, constantly angry, rebellious, and highly unpleasant to just about everybody she encounters. I don’t think there’s anything else I can say specific to the story without messing with your enjoyment of the book.
